How NJS Customs Brokerage handles the personal information you send us through this website.

Last updated: 1 August 2026

This website collects personal information in one place only: the enquiry form on our contact page. This page explains what we collect there, why, who else can see it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who we are

NJS Customs Brokerage, 3rd Floor, Myers Building, Port Area, Manila 1018, Philippines. We are the personal information controller for the data described on this page.

For any privacy question or request, contact us at customsbrokerageinquiries@gmail.com or 0949 878 9600.

What we collect

When you submit the enquiry form, we receive what you type into it:

  • Your name, and your company name if you provide one
  • Your email address and mobile number
  • The service you are enquiring about and the port involved
  • Your cargo description and the details of your message

We do not ask for, and you should not send through this form, any government ID numbers, bank or card details, or other sensitive personal information. If your enquiry needs that information, we will tell you a secure way to provide it.

We do not use cookies on this website, and we do not run any analytics or advertising trackers. Browsing these pages does not create a profile of you.

Why we collect it, and on what basis

We use it for one purpose: to read your enquiry, respond to it, and — if you become a client — to carry out the customs brokerage and logistics work you have asked for.

We rely on your consent, given when you choose to submit the form, and on the legitimate purpose of responding to a request you made of us. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you separately ask us to.

Who else can see it

Sending an enquiry involves a small number of service providers:

  • Formspree processes the form submission and delivers it to our inbox.
  • Vercel hosts this website and processes the network request that carries your submission.
  • Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on these pages. Because those files load from Google's servers, Google may receive your IP address when a page loads. This happens on every page, not only the contact page.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, for example to the Bureau of Customs or another government agency in connection with a shipment, or where required by a lawful order.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are kept while they are still commercially useful to follow up on, and then deleted. Where an enquiry becomes an actual shipment, the related records are kept for as long as customs, tax and corporate record-keeping obligations require, which is generally several years.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, and we will unless we are required to keep it.

Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), you have rights over your personal information. These include the right to be informed about how it is used, to access it, to have it corrected, to object to its processing, to have it erased or blocked in certain circumstances, and to obtain a copy of it.

To exercise any of these, email customsbrokerageinquiries@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

If you believe we have mishandled your information, you may raise it with us directly, and you also have the right to complain to the National Privacy Commission.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS, so what you submit is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we do not keep enquiry data anywhere it does not need to be.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this website handles personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.

Questions about your data

Email customsbrokerageinquiries@gmail.com or call 0949 878 9600. We will respond within a reasonable period.
